    A Saint in our Midst

St. John Paul II, then Archbishop of Krakow Karol Józef Wojtyła, visited our campus in 1976 and again in 1979. His remarkable life and devotion to God has inspired millions, and remains a radiant symbol of the Catholic and Polish faith.

  • A Statement of Encouragement

Karol Cardinal Wojtyła spoke to the community of Orchard Lake about his understanding of it's legacy. His words have continued to inspire and encourage us.

“This is my wish to all of you. I wish this to all, not only students and faculty, but to all who . . . work for Orchard Lake and make it what it is . . . Follow in your calling to the very end. I appeal especially to you, dear faculty members whose task it is to form the minds of your students; and I especially appeal to you, spiritual directors, whose task it is to form the souls of men. All of this has one cause, the cause of Orchard Lake and what it stands for.”
